and the local name for the entire area (92067) zip is
"The Ranch". This is an equestrian paradise
with 45 miles of bridle paths and a Rancho Santa Fe

Center has classes for just about anything adults
or children would find of interest. Membership in
the golf, garden, and tennis clubs is only available
to owners who purchase within the Covenant. About
two thirds of the population lives within the Covenant.
Owners within the Covenant pay an extra tax of 14
cents for every $100 of their purchase price on a
yearly basis. This money is used to maintain the beauty
of the landscaped roadways, etc. Rancho Days is celebrated
in September and celebrates the history of Rancho
Santa Fe and has fun for everyone. There is stylish
couture shopping, art galleries, antique stores and
gourmet restaurants in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar and
La Jolla. The huge Fashion Valley Shopping Center
has top designer stores and is approximately 15 minutes
